Mark Tyler, Vice President & General Manager, Precision Aircraft Services (PAS) speaks about the mission-ready focus that guides their operations on a day-to-day basis.
PAS Technician comments on the value of their team’s camaraderie.
Mark Tyler: This is business-as-usual for PAS aviation maintenance technicians who all have experience in the field across military, law enforcement, or EMS aircraft services. Located at Falcon Field in Peachtree City, GA, we provide a hangar and repair station facility, and we are an Authorized Service Center for many manufacturers. PAA have over 77,000 square feet for our factory-trained technicians to handle a wide range of tasks. and provide services for both fixed-wing and rotor-wing aircraft,
Really, it goes back to the EMS world. We all know that we are here to serve others, and in this case, they are our customers. One of the big differences is that we’ve all come from a service mission-oriented background. We have the mindset and the knowledge that someone is counting on us. If a customer has an aircraft on ground (AOG), especially law enforcement or EMS. We’re going to help them.”
PAS Technician: Small aspects add up to a big picture. Coming into a company that hires and promotes veterans was very important to me because that’s what I am. Being surrounded by brothers here, sisters too, that have done their military service always felt like a warm welcome and everybody understands each other’s experiences.
Mark Tyler: We understand what it means for an operator to be AOG. If they’re AOG in the field, that means they’re not fulfilling their mission. They’re not making money, they’re not saving lives. They’re not catching bad guys because their aircraft is broken. It’s our responsibility to get them back flying as soon as possible.
PAS Technician: It’s really a matter of the people here at PAS. Our backgrounds are seen as dedicated, true craftsmen to aviation.
Mark Tyler: What we talk about here is mission readiness. The number-one mission for us is to provide a safe helicopter.
