PAG Expansion Brings Mission-Critical Support to Aviation Customers

Our history began in 1993 when Precision Heliparts (PHP) was initially founded to supply parts to the helicopter industry. The expansion of PHP into other areas of parts distribution and MRO support would eventually lead to the formation of PAG and its family of subsidiaries.

In 1996 David Mast became President & CEO, and shortly after in 1999, PHP was named one of America’s Fastest Growing Companies by Inc. Magazine.

In 2003 a milestone in PAG’s history occurred when PHP was granted an FAA Repair Station Certificate, launching the company into the MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul) market. “We realized shortly after that expanding in the MRO space was done most efficiently through acquisition,” says President & CEO David Mast, “That way the company began to expand aggressively while still focusing on the kind of service that built our customers’ loyalty and trust.”

In 2004, PHP acquired the company that is now Precision Accessories & Instruments (PAI), leading to the creation of Precision Aviation Group (PAG).

Today, PAG is the parent organization for a group of ten companies in the United States, Canada, Australia and Singapore. Together these companies provide a global network of support offering PAG’s trademarked Inventory Supported Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Services (ISMRO®) for both fixed and rotary wing operators. PAG is one of only 11 companies worldwide, outside of the OEMs, to collectively hold “unlimited” ratings granted by the FAA.

PAG’s growth is based on two key strategies:
  • Combining unmatched customer service with investments in inventory and MRO capabilities.
  • Establishing sales and service facilities close to our customers worldwide.
