- The company that would later become PAT is founded as Aero Technology Inc. (ATI)
Founded as Aero Technology, Inc. (ATI) in 1984, PAT became part of the Precision Aviation Group (PAG) in 2011 and changed its name to Precision Aviation Technology (PAT) in 2013.
At the time it was acquired by PAG, ATI was primarily a MRO Services provider of Accessories, Avionics and Instruments to the Commercial Transport, Military and Regional Airline Markets, with an impressive record of growth and service. ATI was the recipient of Boeing’s coveted Gold Supplier Award in 2009 and 2010, and of Lufthansa’s MRO Excellent Supplier Award in 2010.
When it became a PAG company, ATI diversified PAG’s MRO capabilities and expanded PAG operations into one of the largest aviation markets, providing a growth platform for both PAG and PAT.
PAG has made significant capital investments in inventory and capabilities expansion to bring PAG’s suite of MRO services to PAT. This includes a new Starter Generator and Wheel/Brake shop, as well Hydraulics and Electro-Mechanical accessories. These investments have enhanced the services PAT provides customers and expanded PAG’s service to Commercial, Military and General Aviation customers on the West Coast.
PAT is one of PAG’ s nine operating companies. Together they have locations in the United States, Canada and Australia and form a global network of support that offers PAG’s trademarked ISMRO® (Inventory Supported Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Services ) for both fixed-and rotary-wing operators. PAG is one of only 11 companies worldwide outside OEMs (original equipment manufacturer) to collectively hold all FAA, EASE, AO and AMO certifications.
