Velocity Aerospace has a combined experience spanning over 100 years
Formerly A. Biederman, JDC Company, DCL Avionics and Triumph Group, Velocity Aerospace acquired Triumph Instruments Burbank and Triumph Instruments Ft. Lauderdale from Triumph Group in 2013 to make its entry into the aerospace MRO market. In 2014, EDN Aviation joined the Velocity family, acquired to strengthen and broaden the Group’s capabilities. In a strategy to widen its capabilities and customer reach, EMC Aerospace was acquired in 2015 and remained with the Velocity Group until July of 2020 when it was sold.
Today as part of PAG’s Avionics Services and Manufacturing/DER Services, Velocity continues to provide unparalleled repair and part logistic solutions to customers globally.
PAG provides MRO and Supply Chain Solutions for Fixed- and Rotary-wing aircraft. PAG has MRO and manufacturing capabilities in four MRO segments – Avionics, Components, Engines and Manufacturing/DER Services. PAG is dedicated to keeping mission critical, business, military, and defense operators in the air.

Custom and Specialized Repairs
In today’s environment, it is challenging to find ways to improve maintenance programs and cut cost. Velocity leverages the “Special Service” team to handle part with (1) consistent repair issues, (2) limited supply (c) long lead times, and (4) costly repairs to develop specialized repairs. This team of experienced and highly skilled engineers and technicians works closely with our customers to provide these unique benefits and alternate solution.
Airline Programs
Velocity offers unique programs providing part specific upgrades for components within fleets or custom fit modifications to meet your engineering needs.
The company’s most current parts specific program is the Smoke Detector Upgrade and Replacement program. This program updates all Airbus fleets with the newest Smoke Detector technology and replaces any ionized and obsolete smoke detectors with optical units. We repair, overhaul, modify, and upgrade the outdated smoke detectors support by rotable pool as needed.

REFURBISHMENT
EDN is a leader in repairs of internally illuminated panels and cockpit refurbishment meeting and exceeding industry standards in terms of quality, turn times, AOG support, and at highly competitive pricing. The company supports its customers with a full complement of service representatives and production planning staff. The charter of the customer service staff is to assure prompt response times, expedited problem solving and open lines of communication.
MANUFACTURING
With industry leading standards and quality assurance measures such as MIL-DTL-7788H/SAE AS 7788, EDN specializes in providing precision machined panels of all lighting types, multi-layer circuit board assemblies, cable and wiring harnesses, avionics enclosures, and cockpit sub-assemblies, all produced with meticulous attention to customer specifications and requirements. For over 25 years, EDN has been the industry leader in high quality aircraft cockpit panel manufacturing.
