The Global Leader in Aviation Display Repair

Aviation Displays

Precision Display Repairs (PDR) is the company to turn to for aviation instrumentation display repair. The company refurbishes cockpit LCD displays at an advanced level, giving customers the ability to deploy re-certified displays with lower costs while extending the life of the product. In addition to our team’s 30-year history of repairing LCDs at the glass component level, PDR is the first to deliver a cockpit display cover glass removal and attachment process. This utilizes the company’s Proprietary Glass Removal equipment, which facilitates the test and repair of cockpit LCDs of all sizes. Now Aviation service companies can get support from PDR for a large variety of display panels used in aircraft cockpits.

Since its inception, PDR’s experienced engineering staff has continued to address new technical challenges in electro-mechanical fixturing and tooling, improving the process, repair time, and quality.

PDR’s was one of the first to develop industry specific equipment designed to safely remove and re-bond cover glass typically used in Avionics, Military, and Rugged display applications.

Our technical advances in LCD repair equipment have positioned PDR as a market leader in the Avionic display repair industry.

About Us
Our company was founded in September of 2004 by Jon DeFina, along with a group of co-founders which made up the original Momentum management team. Our founders were the first to develop a Third-Party LCD repair process in 1995, supporting LCD OEMs and integrators worldwide.

Today, this same team of managers and engineers are utilizing their LCD experience to develop innovative repair programs to support the Avionics display industry. Our cohesive team is actively taking a leadership role to address the engineering and logistics challenges to support Aircraft Cockpit, IFE, and specialized displays globally
