Vice President Strategy

Clinton Kent is a highly accomplished senior executive with deep expertise in strategy, commercial leadership, operations, and mergers and acquisitions within the aerospace and aviation services industry. As Vice President of Strategy, he focuses on driving profitable growth, improving operational performance, and aligning enterprise strategy with execution across complex, global organizations.

Strategic Leadership Across Growth, Operations, and M&A
Clinton brings a rare combination of commercial, operational, and corporate development experience. He has held senior leadership roles spanning sales, marketing, manufacturing, business development, and corporate strategy, working closely with executive teams to optimize pricing, expand capacity, strengthen customer relationships, and deploy capital effectively. His broad perspective across the aerospace value chain enables him to identify opportunities, manage risk, and translate strategic priorities into measurable business outcomes.

His leadership philosophy is grounded in servant leadership and empowered, action-oriented, decentralized decision making—helping others be successful, enabling fast decisions, coaching teams, and removing organizational roadblocks

Proven Record of Results
Throughout his career, Clinton has consistently delivered significant financial and operational impact. Most recently, as Vice President of Sales & Marketing at BP Aero Services, he more than doubled sales and increased net income by sixfold in three years through acquiring new customers, increasing market share, and pricing discipline. At StandardAero, he generated more than $25 million in annual EBITDA by repricing dilutive inputs during post-COVID capacity constraints, expanded growth across strategic engine platforms, and led P&L responsibility for multiple manufacturing sites totaling $125 million in revenue. Earlier in his career, he helped scale revenue from $90 million to $340 million through organic and inorganic growth, while improving margins, win rates, and customer retention.

Clinton also brings extensive M&A experience, having led due diligence, valuation, and closing activities on acquisitions totaling $1.9 billion in enterprise value, supported successful divestitures during challenging market conditions, and managed international MRO site transitions ahead of schedule and under budget.

Committed to Excellence
Clinton holds an MBA and Master of Engineering Management with distinction from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and McCormick School of Engineering, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois, where he graduated summa cum laude. His servant leadership philosophy emphasizes analytical rigor, operational discipline, and collaboration, with a strong focus on building scalable systems, developing teams, and driving sustainable value creation. Outside of work, Clinton enjoys winemaking—a passion that has become a meaningful way to connect with colleagues and customers.

He resides in Atlanta with his wife, two stepchildren, two shelter dogs, and two rescued cats.
