Our Start - 1993
Precision Heliparts (PHP) is founded by Scott James in Atlanta, GA.
1996
New Leadership - 1996
David Mast acquires 50% of PHP and becomes President.
1996
New Location for PHP - 1996
PHP moves to current location of PAG headquarters near Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and shares building space with PAI.
1997
Precision Aviation Group (PAG) Founded - 1997
Precision Aviation Group (PAG) founded for the acquisition of Precision Avionics & Instruments (PAI) from BBA Group/Dallas Airmotive
1999
Fastest Growing Companies Award - 1999
PHP is named one of Inc. Magazine’s 500 Fastest Growing Companies in America.
2002
Entering the Canadian Market - 2002
PHP enters the Canadian market with the opening of Precision Heliparts-Canada (PHP-C) in Vancouver, BC.
2003
Certifications - 2003
PHP obtains certification for US FAA repair station and enters MRO market.
2004
Company Acquisition & PAG - 2004
PHP acquires Precision Avionics & Instruments from Dallas Airmotive/BBA. Precision Aviation Group (PAG) is formed as the parent organization for a group of companies including PHP, PHP-C and PAI.
2007
PAG acquires Pegasus Aircraft Components - 2007
PAG acquires Pegasus Aircraft Components of Vancouver and renames it Precision Accessories & Instruments –Canada (PAI-C).
2010
Acquisitions & Expansion - 2010
PAG acquires Avcenter LLC of Dallas, Texas, a wheel–and-brake shop, and relocates it to PAG’s headquarters in Atlanta, GA. PAG completes a major expansion of Atlanta, GA, headquarters to 65,000 square ft.
2011
Acquisitions & Certifications - 2011
PAI is awarded NDT certification by the FAA and adds non-destructive testing (NDT) to its unlimited accessory, avionics and instrument ratings. PAI changes its name from Precision Avionics & Instruments to Precision Accessories & Instruments. PAG acquires Gardner Aviation Specialist of Peachtree City, GA. – now Precision Aircraft Services (PAS) – an FAA repair station with expertise in avionics installation, upgrades and maintenance for fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft. PAG acquires Aero Technology Inc. of Long Beach, CA. – now Precision Aero Technology (PAT) – a repair station founded in 1984 focused on commercial and military avionics.
2012
Expansions & Launch of Two Companies - 2012
PAG increases the size of Atlanta facility to 80,000 square feet. PAG launches two new companies, both 5,000-square-foot sales and service facilities to serve booming rotary-wing markets: Lafayette, LA. (PHP-LA) in the US and Precision Aviation Group Australia PTY LTD (PHP-AU) in Brisbane, Australia.
2013
Expanding Our Global Footprint - 2013
PAG opens Precision Accessories and Instruments (PAI-AU) in Brisbane, Australia. PAG expands its footprint around the globe to nearly 200,000 square feet of sales and service facilities. PAG opens PAT sales office in Singapore PAG opens a wheel-and-brake shop at the PAT facility in Long Beach, CA. PAS becomes an Authorized Robinson Helicopter Dealer and Service Center and exceeds sales quotas of R22, R44 and R66 Helicopters in the first full year.
2014

PAS becomes an Airbus Service Center. PHP-LA doubles size of sales and service facility to 10,000 square ft. PAS becomes Authorized MD Helicopter Service Center. Acquired Aviation Controls Inc. (ACI) – a repair station dedicated to turbine engine controls and accessories

Luminator Named PAG Authorized Repair Center and Distributor. PAG AU Receives Part 145 EASA and CASA Approval. PAS Receives Diamond Airbus Award.
2016
Brazil Launch & Certifications - 2016
ACI changes Name to Precision Aviation Controls (PAC). PAC Receives Honeywell Approval for PT6 FCUs and Accessories. PAG Announces PHP Brazil Launch – São Paulo.
2017
Expansion & Growth - 2017
PAG Expands PAG-AU from 10K to 20K Square Ft. & Adds Capabilities. PAG Enhances Inventory Profile with $4.1M additional AW139 Components. PAG-AU Receives FAA Part 145 Foreign Repair Station Approval. PAG Expands PHP-LA from 10K to 20K square ft. PAG Announces Expansion into Asia Region with Singapore Facility Launch.
