20-Year Veteran / Louisiana Army National Guard

Jim Statnick

Parts Specialist (PAG Component Services – Atlanta)

Airforce Veteran / GSDF Volunteer

Georgia State Defense Force, a component of the Georgia Department of Defense

The GASDF provides a trained volunteer force to assist state and local governments, civil relief organizations, and support for state and local service events.

Jim became a GASDF volunteer in 2016. The service opportunity was particularly attractive because it allowed Jim to use his training and experience, and give back to his community in a military environment.
