Precision Aviation Group (PAG) – Expands and Consolidates Canadian Operations into New Facility

February 10, 2008

Atlanta, GA. February 10, 2008 – In a continuing effort to provide the best products and value-added services to the worldwide aerospace and defense industry, Precision Aviation Group (PAG) – the exclusive provider of ISMRO (Inventory Supported Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) – officially opened its New Facility in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The rapid growth of PAG’s Canadian entities – Precision Heliparts-Canada (PHP-C) and Precision Accessories & Instruments-Canada (PAI-C) – necessitated the New 15,000 square-foot facility, said PAG President David Mast.

“We are excited about the consolidation and expansion of our facilities in Vancouver.  We had outgrown our shop at Vancouver International (YVR), and our facility in Surrey had reached maximum capacity as our business and employee ranks in Canada have grown over 50 percent over the last 3 years,” Mast stated.

“After an extensive search, we decided that a new, larger facility would best meet our current and future requirements,” Mast added.  “PHP-Canada has outgrown its facility three times over the last six years, and we wanted a facility that could accommodate their continuing growth and handle the addition of PAI-Canada into the same facility.  The new facility is almost double the size of the previous one (15,000 sq.ft vs. 8,000 sq.ft), and the integration of our two facilities will provide better turn times for customers utilizing our MRO services.  In addition to upgrading our facilities, we have made substantial capital investments in tooling, equipment, and logistics to better serve our customer base, and provide a solid foundation for continued growth in Canada.”

In 2008 PAG processed over 30,000 accessories, avionics, instruments, and other rotable items for repair and overhaul. PAG’s 40 technicians total more than 450 years experience in the general aviation field and 22 Sales team members each average over 14 years of support experience. PAG has a long history of expertise in repairs management, its employees have extensive knowledge of the aerospace & defense industry, and maintains strong relationships with OEMs and other repair stations. PAG companies have FAA, EASA and Transport Canada certifications.
