More than 300 people including corporate aircraft owners, law enforcement, EMS and private aircraft owners attended the one-day event and showcase.  Representatives from ICG, Universal Avionics, Rockwell Collins, Honeywell, Garmin International, L-3 Communications, Free Flight Systems, Avidyne Corporation, Magellan Aerospace, Guardian Mobility and Bendix King Corporation all showcased new equipment at the event.  Flight Displays, Dallas Avionics, Airbus Helicopters, Robinson Helicopters, MD Helicopters, Bell Helicopters, TurboMeca, Gulf Stream, Genesys/Helisas, and Atlantic Aero were also in attendance.

“This is our fourth annual fly-in, at PAS and this year we were able to team with and have the support of the GBAA,” said President Dave Ford of PAS. “The event continues to grow each year. Thank you to all our customers, vendors and staff for making it such a great day.”

An impressive static display was also part of the annual event.  A CJ2, Citation II, Commemorative Air Force Corsair, C-182, Bell 206, Bell 407, Airbus AStar, King Air 90, and King Air 250 were all on display.

“We have numerous customers around the world and have strong global partnerships with industry leading equipment manufacturers,” said PAG Vice President of Business Development Adrienne Robinson. “The fly in allows customers to see the latest technology in one location on a single day from many of our global partners. Everything we do at PAS is aimed at providing the best service possible.  Part of that service is giving customers a chance to see new equipment on new aircraft to consider equipment upgrades or to assess other needs they may have. This event enables us to provide a nice venue without taking too much time from our customers’ busy schedules.”

PAS also provided lunch to all the attendees.  This is the first time PAS has partnered with the GBAA for the event.  Jeff Agur is the Chairman of the GBAA.  “PAS has done a fabulous job in the past three years,” said Agur. “It was great to partner with them to expand the event even more.  We were able to network numerous aerospace companies in the region, showcase PAS and Falcon Field.  This event also enabled us to show others the numerous aviation resources in our region and let local and state legislative bodies see the resources that are available to them locally.”

“The event sponsored by PAS and the GBAA provided us with a great opportunity to showcase the benefits of Atlanta Regional Airport – Falcon Field,” said Airport Manager Hope Macaluso.  “Our airport and FBO offers all the necessities of flight operations along with the convenient Atlanta location.  It is great to see companies like PAS and organizations like the GBAA partnering to raise awareness on all our region has to offer in terms of aviation and we were honored to work with them.”
