  • July 15th, 2015

Atlanta, GA – July 15, 2015Precision Aviation Services (PAS), a Precision Aviation Group, Inc. (PAG) company, a leading provider of products and value-added services to the worldwide aerospace and defense industry announced today that the company is now a Level II supplier and installation facility for Technisonic Industries Ltd.’s (Technisonic) new TDFM 9000 series P25 (Phase II) multiband airborne radios.

“The Project 25 initiative was started in North America to enhance communications and safety between departments using P25 compliant radios,” said Vice President of Business Development for PAG Adrienne Robinson.  “We will begin offering PAG customers the P25 compliant TDFM 9000 series radios from Technisonic as an option when customers are at our completion center having new equipment installed. We want to make sure we offer the latest technology that will enhance our customers’ mission safety and efficiency.”

Technisonic is a leader in the development of aeronautical FM, and multi-band special-mission airborne radios and audio communications systems. Its specialties include P25 airborne radios, digital and analog airborne audio, AM base stations for airlines and analog airborne FM radios.   Many helicopter operators are required to migrate to the new P25 Phase II TDMA trunking format.

“We our proud to work with PAS, said” Technisonic Business Development Manager Jim Huddock. “They are uniquely qualified because of their staff expertise, facilities and years of experience supporting customers in the U.S. Southeast region and worldwide. Law enforcement, emergency medical service providers, search and rescue helicopters and other helicopter operators are moving away from older radios to the new P25 radios.  The Technisonic P25 compliant TDFM 9000 series radios allow for smoother communication between aviation and ground units.”

PAS completed factory training on Technisonic public safety oriented products. Agencies who face the necessity of moving to TDMA are encouraged to contact PAS to explore their options for a solution that will meet their airborne, Public Safety Communications requirement.  For more information about the P25 radios Contact Brian Rodgers at Precision Aviation Services can be reached at 770 486-6061, or www.precisionaviationservices.com
